It’s a practical choice to try the different tips that I’m about to discuss in this article. I’m not a dermatologist but had experienced a lot of disappointments from highly-priced hydrating and anti-aging products. So, I decided to try doing essential tips to achieve radiant-looking skin. And it was indeed the best decision that I’ve ever made. I have close to little acne problems now and have improved how my skin looked. After all, it’s always our heart’s joy to hear compliments from friends and be able to look stunning on skin revealing clothes.

Here are some of the natural tips I followed to achieve a glowing skin naturally.

1. Eat a lot of greens: eat fresh fruits

By changing your diet, you’ll not only have an amazing body but also have better skin appearance. And not to mention that by switching to healthier meal plans, you’ll save $50 to $100 per week. Green vegetables naturally contain hydrating minerals and vitamins that lead to having a youthful and radiant looking skin. It’s always a smart choice to eat healthy over cheap junk foods. So, the next time you between a bag of chips versus a freshly harvested red apple. Always choose the latter.

It’s also important that you eat at least three servings of fruits per week. It was not recommended that you have juiced fruits every day, but eat them in moderation since eating too many fruits means a lot of fructose going in your body. The liver can only process little fructose, which means any extra sugar in the body; it can’t convert to fuel will eventually turn into fats. Add more foods that are rich in Vitamin C in your diet to help your skin glow.

2. H20

Turns out to be that the secret of getting a healthily glowing skin is right there in your kitchen’s refrigerator the whole time. It recommended that you drink 2 liters of water a day, depending on your daily habits. If you hit the gym or you train a lot, that means you need to drink more water. It said that you drink in the amount of oz. Half of your total body weight in-lbs. If you’re 180 lbs, therefore, you need to drink 90 oz. Every single day. Drinking a lot of water keeps your skin well-hydrated.

3. Sweat it out

By this means, don’t train like a pussy. If ever in your training sessions, you don’t sweat out; it just means that you are not hydrated enough, or you’re just exerting very minimal effort. If having glowing skin is something you’ve been longing, it’s worth that you put in more effort and time to achieve it. After exercising, you can instantly see that your skin becomes more flushed and freshen.

So don’t hesitate to make time for your daily workout routine. It will pay off in the end. I have friends who are in their 40s, and by exercising regularly, they still look like they’re in their 20s. I have to admit that any person who exercises everyday ages well. If you don’t know how to start, you can always drag your best friend with you and go jogging 2-3 a week. Exercising regularly gives you healthy-looking skin. After all, there’s no way anyone would want to have rough-looking skin.

4. Sunscreen

It’s always fun and exciting to step outside the house and have some fun; certainly, anyone is entitled to have a little fun, to make sure that you apply sunscreen protection for your skin. It doesn’t matter if it’s sunny or cloudy outside, your skin can’t go out without an armor. When you start using sunscreen, you will notice that your skin will start to look healthier and smoother.

5. Remove makeup before going to bed

Well, there are times where you are very burned out, and you want to lie down on the bed. This is probably one of those times where you are from a fun party or a demanding disco event. Even though it is very tempting just to let it go and jump right into your bed, you have to remember that wearing makeup before going to bed is not good for your skin. Makeups should always remove before sleeping. The skin needs to relax and breath overnight. With the makeup on, it won’t be able to breathe properly. As a result, the skin pores will get clogged, and your skin will look tired once you wake up in the morning.

Clogged pores can also lead to blemishes and blackheads. Of course, these blackheads and blemishes are quite hard to get rid of. They also leave some scars on your face, which is even more irritating. To prevent these from happening, you have to remove that makeup. Use a regular makeup remover to get those makeup off your face. You can also use olive oil if you don’t have makeup remover.

6. Exfoliate your skin

Another great thing to do for your skin is exfoliation. It comes with a handful of benefits that will surely make your skin glow in the long run. By exfoliating your skin regularly, you are preventing dead skin cells from accumulating on your face. Dead skin cells are not great for your skin. They make your skin look dry and unhealthy. After an effective exfoliation, your skin should look bright and healthy. On top of that, exfoliating your skin is fairly easy. It doesn’t need any expertise or special equipment. This is a good way of keeping your skin radiant and clear.

You can use yogurt and paste of walnut that is in powder form. This mixture will effectively exfoliate your skin and makes it look radiant. Walnuts have a high amount of antioxidants, which will also help remove dirt and other pollutants. There are many benefits of exfoliation other than removing dead skin cells. It helps reduce pigmentation on your skin. So, if you have problems with over pigmentation, you can try exfoliation. This will help break up the pigmented cells and slowly reduce pigmentation.

Exfoliation also helps with clogged pores. It will draw out the congestion and bring the pores back to normal. This means that it can also fix blackheads and whiteheads. Exfoliation is good for your overall health. It increases blood circulation and lymphatic system. As an effect, your body would be able to produce healthy skin cells effectively, drains toxins, and breaks down fatty tissues.

7. Get some sun

Now, we have mentioned that you should protect your skin from the sun by applying sunscreen. Well, that is not always the case. The sun also has benefits on your skin, so you don’t have to protect your skin from it constantly. Setting under the sun for about 10 minutes is enough to get its benefits. The best time to do it is said to be around noon. Around 10 am to 2 pm. Well, this might be a bit surprising. You have to stay under the sun for a short period to avoid any damage.

Vitamin D from the sun is good for your skin. This vitamin will help stimulate the production of collagen, minimize acne, enhance radiance, and boost elasticity.

8. Get enough sleep

Of course, sleep is always important for our skin. It is even more important for our overall health. Now, if you have observed a person who is lacking sleep before, you will realize that it is not a good thing. It makes the person look unhealthy and tired. Eye bags and tired-looking eyes are not a great sight. So, having enough sleep is important. Getting 8 hours of sleep every night will be enough. Remember that our body repairs itself during sleep. Having the right amount of sleep will accelerate cell regeneration and skin repair.
